Outpatient Clinics

In the newly renovated east wing, the Division of Cardiology has extensive outpatient services including general cardiology and special units for hypertension, cardiomyopathy and heart failure, cardiac arrhythmia, and congenital and acquired heart defects. Comprehensive functional cardiovascular diagnostics include echocardiography, 3D echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography; monitoring of pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization therapy; stress ECG and spiroergometry; 24-hour ECG and blood pressure measurement; tilt-table studies, and treadmill ergometry. Some 7000 patients yearly are treated to highest standards in our outpatient services.
